The Queen’s Head is one of Northumberland's oldest coaching inns. It's an attractive, stone built village pub, with open inglenook fires and beamed ceilings.

Prior to reopening in June 2022, we've have given the pub a light facelift to give it a light airy feel with a modern twist, while maintaining the traditional atmosphere.

We offer tasty snacks and pub meals throughout, and in the beautiful garden when the weather permits. All our food is prepared onsite and too order, and we pride ourselves on offering a fantastic, curated, selection of drinks.

We have plentiful parking with additional, free, on road parking. We welcome everyone, including walkers enjoying the Hadrian’s Wall path or St Oswald’s Way, and cyclists making the most of the peaceful local roads.
