August Opening Hours, Adjusted.

Presented, adjusted opening hours for the remainder of August and the second of my Notecards. ✏️

The Notecard-2, The Road Less Travelled.
"The road less travelled makes all the difference..."
I've spent the last few days thinking hard, reflecting and planning on the back of some rather big changes to the team I work with here at The Queen's Head.
I've leafed through notes taken on what has worked, on what hasn't worked and, most importantly, the feedback that you have all given - especially that since the start of this year.
And look, I know there has been a lot of change this year already but I feel it suits my determined focus on keeping the show going.
In this case, something isn't quite working, but letting go of it hasn't been easy, especially when it is seen as a staple. However, this year I have felt repeatedly drawn to the road less travelled - and so, it's the right time to roll the dice once again.
Within the adjusted opening hours for the pub in this post, you'll see a core change to Sundays. A later opening time.
As part of this, I'm saying farewell, for now, to my effort to offer Sunday Lunches at The Queen's Head. Thank you for all who've supported me on this front over the years, I know there will be some disappointment amongst you.
Food will still be available however, as I will now shift part of my focus to rebuilding the pub's bar menu, ready for the arrival of Autumn.
And, to finish, there are some acts, old and new, set to the stage. A return of the quiz night and evenings for wine tasting. There are new communities and ideas on the horizon - lectures, pop-up kitchens and a real ale club to name some.
